Hey peeps, well.. blogmas didn't work quite well this year hahaha dang it. I was quite busy and pretty lazy in the evening. So.. that's basically how my days went till christmas. I had to shop a lot for christmas presents, help mum and dad, do this and that. Ugh.. I'm glad it's over. But more stress is coming soon.. right after Christmas. I'm so NOT excited haha. So how have you been?
Since I don't want to talk and spam you with my uninteresting things I'll just show you some clothing items for Christmas/Winter time I've been loving lately. Stuff I bought as presents for friends, and stuff I bought for myself haha. And some random stuff I loved and used a lot for Christmas time.

Well, as you can see and already tell, I ordered some stuff and it luckily came in right before christmas day! I ordered the Sleek "Oh so special" Palette, two blushes and also the Sleek contour and highlighter which hasn't come in yet. The Palette is really really pretty and I didn't want to swatch it since it's for my big sister, so I just watched it from a far lol. The blushes are for me hehehe, oh I love blushes. I got the "Flamingo 937" and "Pomegranate 923". The Flamingo one is a really really bright pink which is so attractive haha, like seriously, I like that a lot. It may seem way too bright, but after an hour or so it does fade out a bit and look really, as if you have super pretty and cute flushy cheeks. But I really love the Pomegranate one, it became my favorite blush for now. It is so gorgeous! and fades out and blends in beautifully!

Merry Christmas

Hello everyone :) I posted on my Instagram that my next blogpost will be the 'What's in my make-up bag' yey hehe. To be honest, I'm actually just way too lazy with putting make-up on early in the morning for school.. and if I do I just pop on some concealer, mascara and lip tint/tinted lip balm. That's it, yup.. hehe. But going out is an other story right? Haha, it has been so hot here in the last few weeks and so I was even lazier with putting make-up on XD But then, you want to look fine and fresh right? Because it was so extremely hot my face got really oily and shiny, which made me look like I ran 100K miles.. To control that fuss about the oiliness I use oil sheets/blotting sheets, you probably know about them. They just absorb the oil from your face. And what I really like about my blotting sheets is that they don't remove my make up so that I have to put everything on again. And also a compact powder/matt powder will be your best friend in those situations. Okay, let's see what I have in my little bag!

I've been loving my Laneige Snow BB Soothing Cushion with SPF 50+ PA+++, it's honestly the best BB Cream I've tried. Of course it hasn't got a high coverage, but it's really smooth and goes on my skin really well. I got this as a birthday present from a really good friend of mine. What I also love about this is, that it comes with a refill. This one is in no. 23 Sand Beige and it's kind of a shade too dark for my natural skin tone. But since I got a teny tiny bit tanned on my vacation it fits my skin perfectly now and I love it. If you're looking for something with a sheer coverage and is sweat-proof, this one is the best. Oh and yeah, it smells amazing hihi!
Next thing in my little bag are of course my blotting sheets and a super adorable hair tie, which I received as a present from my big sister. And also my CD moisturizer which I've told you about in my previous post (August monthly favorites). I depotted it in this little sample thingy from Clinique, so that I don't have to carry my whole huge moisturizer around with me since my bag isn't a suitcase.

Dior Addict Lipstick no. 750 in Rock'n'Roll
Lip Ice Miracle Apo no. 1 in Pinky Orange
Catrice Skin Finish Compact Powder no. 010 Transparent

And the the last bits, have to be a lip moisturizer/balm and my make-up puff. I went a bit crazy in Vietnam when I saw these make-up puffs for only 1$ each! So I bought.. a few hehe. These things are amazing, they're really soft and they pick up just the right amount of product. I prefer using these for loose power and other powder, because I saw my cousin using this for her foundation and it doesn't quite went out as she expected.. the puff got ruined.. hahaha. Onto the lip balm, I got this one in my local drugstore, it's not the one and only lip moisturizer I love, I have few cause seriously I tried so many, and I liked soo many haha. Am I crazy? They're just as good as high end moisturizer.

Sooo, that's pretty much everything in my make-up bag.. I hope you liked this post. If you have any questions, suggestions or basically everything, just tell me in the comment section below. I'd love to read them and of course link your blog down below!
xoxo blog peeps :)

What's in my Make-up bag? (Summer Edition)

2013/09/02

Hello everyone :)

This is my very first monthly favorites post! I hope you enjoy it, let's get started.
Not only that a new week has started, it's finally a new month! Summer is nearly over, so it's time to say goodbye to shorty shorts and summer dresses. Nevertheless I'm super excited for fall, since fall is one of my favorite seasons when it comes to fashion. It's the perfect time for lovely cosy sweaters, pretty warm colors, boots and super long knitted scarfs. August was a tough month for me. As you know, I went on vacation to vietnam to visit my family. Saying goodbye was the worst.. anyways, on the 5th August my school started again and I was finally able to see my friends again. "New year, new goal"! It's my senior year, last school year, last year being together with my all schoolmates. It'll be tough though. Whatever, if you believe you can do anything. On to the new month yeah! Okay, let me show you the products that I've loved throughout this toughy lovely month.

Fashion of the month

I have to say, I really enjoyed wearing flower patterned clothes and laces. Overall, I love pastel colors, so I kept my clothes quiet fresh, creamy colored and light. My school outfits were basically just long black trousers or leggings with loose shirts. Since the weather was sometimes literally killing me with 30°C I had no other choice but wear cute summer dresses. Of course they were flower patterned again, or with laces. You may think now that I'm crazy wearing long bottoms on hot summer days! Obviously I indeed did were shorts too! But I just really missed my comfortable long trousers since I wore shorts 5 weeks long on my vacation!
For my summer accessories and hair styles, I really loved wearing a reaally thin fabric loop scarf from H&M. I loved this scarf so much, I pretty much wore it every day. But unfortunately I lost mine when I went shopping with my friend.. I left it in the dressing room. I'm honestly really sad, and I hope I can find the same one in h&m again, cause I bought it a while ago. For hair styles I just really liked putting my hair into a pony tail or a bun since it was really warm. Sometimes I braided my hair into a fishtail braid and paired the hair style with an other casual shorts-loose shirt-flats style.

Outfit in the picture:
Loose shirt: Mango $26 / 19,99€
Lace shorts: Zara $49.90 / 39,99€

(Left) Favorite summer scent. My favorite perfume through summer has to be the "La Perla" by Divina $48 / 39,99€. I got this from my beloved mama for christmas last year. La Perla has a seductive, elegant and sophisticated fragrance which doesn't have a too strong scent and is just perfect for a nighty night out. It's pretty much a fusion of sweet strawberry, orange, pear and champagne. But over all it's smells sweet, fruity and rosy.. If you like sweet, fresh scents, this one is perfect for you. Another random thing I noticed and love about this perfume -> So, my birth name is Ngoc Linh Phung. The meaning of my name is "pure pearl". The funny thing is, the perfumes name is "La Perla" which means "the pearl". Noticed? Hehe. Also, the initials of the perfumes name "LP", which is also signed on the cap of the perfume bottle, are my initials too! LP = Linh Phung (shorter version). That's so funny and random, I can't even.. Hehehe

(Right) Few days ago I went to the Chanel make-up boutique and picked up this super super gorgeous lipstick! To be honest I'm so lazy to put on make-up when I go to school. So when I'm in the mood I just pop on some concealer and a liptint. Since I've got my super gorgeous lipstick which is just perfect for end of the summer, especially in putting up your mood when you're so down because of waking up for school lol. The lipstick has a slightly shimmer touch to it, the color is a peachy orangy color which really brightens up basically everything. Such a happy color!
Chanel Rouge Coco Collection in Color: Sari DorĂ© 76 34$ / 29,95€

(Left) So my face got really really dry lately, that my skin fell into a bad breakout.. and I tried so many products but none worked for me until my mum told me about this magic creme! This is by far the best moisturizer I've ever tried! Even though my face hasn't recover completely yet I can definitely see a positive change on my skin. I'm not really sure, but I think my mum got this in a local drugstore (Germany). The moisturizer has natural extracts of the water lily with totally 0% of mineral oils, silicones, color pigments and animal ingredients. Since it is a german brand I'm not sure where you can get this if you have the same problem as me.. but I will look it up for you and do an other blogpost if I found it somewhere to order or something similar to it. CD Feuchtigkeitscreme Wasserlilie 3,59€

(Right) Because of summer hot days my face got really oily on the T-zone area, this compact powder by Tony Moly really helped me controlling this problem! This is the Tony Moly Oriental Gyeol Goun Two-Way Pact SPF 48 Pa+++ & BB Cream SPF 46 PA++ and it's really one of the best compact powders besides some other ones I love (I'll do a separate post about it). It doesn't make my face look cakey at all.  And the fact that the powder has SPF 48 PA+++ is most probably the coolest thing ever! If you feel curious and if you want me to do a review on it, let me know in the comment section below.

To end my day, I like to drink a cup of pure green tea in my lovely berry mug I got from my best friend. Isn't this mug so cute? Not only that it looks so adorable, it's the perfect size for my tea, if that makes sense? Hehe. So to end this posty post I'd like to wish you all a joyful, happy month! See yall in the next post..
With that said, paaaaaaiiiiiiiiiii! x)

Best of August
